SMALL TRUCK  RULES

1970 or newer American truck with a maximum wheelbase at least 124" with full frame.  All stock frame.

All glass, chrome, headlights, taillights, and upholstery must be removed.

A frame mount 4 point roll cage with at least 4 bars in the driver's door and 3 in the passenger's door.  Roll bars must be
constructed using at least 1 3/4" diameter tubing with wall thickness of at least .095.  NO EXHAUST TUBING.

Bumpers must be welded to frame.  All doors must be bolted or welded shut.

Stock steel unaltered floor pan, firewall, trunk floor and rear inner fender must remain in stock position.

Drive-shaft hoops are required within 12" of the front and back of the drive-shaft.  Drive-shaft must be painted white.

Tow chain must be on the front and back of the truck and be able to hold weight of truck.

SUSPENSION

Shocks must be in stock mounting position.  One shock per wheel.  All stock suspension.

Engine must be V6 or V4 and must be stock from top to oil pan.  Must be in stock position.  No turbo's.

Stock ignition only.  No magnetos or MSD box's.

Cast iron exhaust or headers only.

GAS ONLY.

Stock automatic transmissions with working torque converter are required.  Standard transmissions only.

All trucks must have working reverse gear.

Rear ends may be locked.  Floaters optional stock mounting and location rear end, no bird cages.

WHEELS AND TIRES

White spoke or racing steel wheel recommended on right side of truck.  One inch lug nuts are required.  Maximum wheel width 8".
 Bead locks allowed right side only.

UMP MOD tire rules.  No recaps.

BRAKES

4 wheel brakes, stock master cylinder, pedals.

SAFETY

Competition seat, 5 point safety harness, seat belts must be mounted to roll cage.

Fuel lines that pass through the truck must be in steel tubing.

Battery must be completely enclosed in a marine type battery box with lid and mounted securely.

All weights must be painted white with drivers name and number on them.  Bolted to frame of truck.

MANDATORY: FIRE EXTINGUISHER.

CLAIM

$500.00 (cash only) motor claim plus exchange of your motor.  Claims must be made to pit steward or to the start of the feature.  
A driver finishing in the top five of the feature on the same lap as the winner may claim a truck in the top five.

To claim truck the driver claiming the truck must have raced the two previous weeks at the track where the claim is made.  The
driver can have his truck claimed at any time, but no claim can be made by a driver his first night at the track, but his truck can
be claimed his first night at the track.

ALL TRUCKS ARE SUBJECT TO WEEKLY INSPECTIONS.  ILLEGAL TRUCKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN.

REMEMBER, RULES MAY NOT COVER EVERY INCIDENT THAT MAY OCCUR, THEREFORE, IN THOSE SITUATIONS THE
DECISION OF THE PIT STEWARD AND/OR TRACK OFFICIAL ARE FINAL.

IF YOUR TRUCK IS FOUND TO BE ILLEGAL, DRIVER WILL FORFEIT ALL MONEY AND POINTS FOR THE NIGHT.

IF YOU RUN THIS CLASS AND MOVE TO UPPER CLASS, YOU CANNOT COME BACK DOWN.  NO UPPER CLASS DRIVERS IN
THIS CLASS.
