This handsome daredevil just turned eleven years old in June!  After racing Go Carts for six
years and winning three Indiana State Championships and a second place,
Tyler Allen, from
Indianapolis, Indiana, became bored with go carts and decided to race Junior Sprints.  His
father, Rodger Allen (who has NEVER raced), bought him a 600 Mini Sprint that Tyler only raced
two times before wanting to go even bigger.  So his father bought him a Late Model!  Tyler has
raced in about thirteen races this year and he loves it.  He said he wasn't "here to win" tonight
but to get the experience and the points.  What he did do was entertain the crowd.  Everyone
had heard about Tyler in the stands and was cheering him on.  It was such a pleasure watching
this guy on the track.  He was so calm and seemed to have complete control of his car.  Keep
your eye on this guy, he could be a future NASCAR star!

In the last picture on this page is Late Model car #93 (behind #118).  I am so sorry I didn't get a
picture of
Zak Blackwood , from Columbus, Indiana, and Tyler Allen's friend.  Zak is only 13
years old and has been following the same path as his friend. Both boys are impressive drivers,
kind, and cute as can be!
Seventy-two year old Bob Creviston traveled from Tennessee to drive the
"Rent-A-Wreck" his brother-in-law owns.
John Martin from Greensburg, IN,
and his little buddy Ben.
This was Chad Oberson's first time back to
the track after rolling his car two years ago.
Congratulations to Raymond who
became a grandpa for the second time.
Little Ashley was born 09/05/07
Prayers to our little fan Danielle who had
to be taken to the hospital last week.
Her blood sugar was over 200.
His driving history is impressive.  A 1/5 mile track built
for Midgets in Richmond was owned by his uncle
who decided to have a "Novice Race" (eight laps
going forward and then the last two are driven in
reverse) to try and get a larger crowd.  Bob was test
driving a 1940s Studebaker when he wrecked it, and
had to buy it!  So he decided to drive it to his uncle's
track for the Novice Race; hence the start of a career
in race car driving.

Bob's first serious year in racing was in 1960 with a
1949 Chevy he bought.
Joe Kirhoff then got Bob to
drive for him for about three years before
Jack Wright
snatched Bob up to drive for him.  After 13 years of
racing five nights a week for Jack, Bob decided to
hang up his racing suit in 1973.

Driving the "Rent-A-Wreck" as he called it, was very
different.  He is used to driving really GOOD cars and
WINNING!
This is David Daughtery's 30th year racing.  He started racing at the age of twelve!
This is his first year driving a Late Model.
