| THREE GENERATIONS OF DRIVERS! This story starts back in 1972 when Jack Woodward decided to start a hobby that would carry over for three generations. Jack raced at this track from 1972 - 1994 and did quite well I'm told. His son David Woodward drives car #600 in the Street Stock class and #6 in the Late Model class. Happy birthday to David who turned 46 last Monday! Tonight was the first night racing for David's daughter, Carla Woodward. She isn't even nervous and she isn't starting out slowly. She is going to be driving car #17 in the Street Stock class. Carla just turned 17 last June. Thirteen year-old Josh Woodward can't wait until he can become the fourth generation of racers when he turns 16. David's brother, Ed Woodward drives in demolition derby's and was a crew member for their dad, Jack. Ed owned his own race car when he was four. Their brother, Joe Woodward, raced the car in 1978 at the age of 18 and won. He didn't like having to tell everyone the car he drove was owned by his four year old brother! What a great family. |

| Mike and Sarah Wall, from Lynn, own this really cool Road Hog. Mike does all of his own art work at his shop "Muddawg Motorsports". Out of four races, Mike has had to start on the tail for every one. He starts on the tail again tonight! He sure hopes he can pull a better start out of the hat next race. He has two top 10 wins, 15th when a ball joint broke during the 50 lap special, and tenth place his last race when a tire was cut. Mike and his father, Steve Wall, have been coming to the track since Mike was 7 years old. He used to ask his dad to please build him a car and his dad's response was, "If I am going to build a car, it is going to be for me!" Steve raced at the track in the 70's for two years. His car got tore up during a race so he gave it up. |
